Making its UK-debut, the CFV5 incorporates a dedicated table solution bringing full 5-axis, 5-sided large capacity machining capability to the popular range of tried and tested CFV vertical machining centres. The CFV5 with 5-axis integrated rotary table technology comfortably machines workpieces up to 400mm in diameter and 300mm high, and has up to 150 deg tilt capability.
Superior parts surface finish and accuracy is achieved from the high-rigidity cast frame structure, minimising chatter and vibration for a flawless finish.
A choice of state-of-the-art leading CNC control systems are available to provide both positioning and simultaneous 5-axis machining capability.
The popular ‘i’ version was demonstrated at MACH, with its optional 12,000 40 taper spindle, ideal for mould and die machining and aerospace structures, as well as general machining applications.
